Try this be wtiful stuffing next time you're cooking a chicken: 4 slices of thick, day old bread 4-6 sprigs of fresh thyme A medium sized sprig of fresh parsley 6-8 fresh sage leaves 1/2 a chopped apple A generous teaspoon of softened butter A little salt and black pepper * Break the bread up and place in a food processor. Blitz for 10 seconds. * Chop the herbs, and together with the rest of the ingredients, add to the bread [in the processor]. * Blitz for a further 10-15 seconds, until the butter has slightly binded everything together. Makes enough mixture to stuff a medium sized chicken The apple gives it a moister texture than usual stuffing, and also gives it a slightly fruitier taste. Fresh herbs are nicer, but you can sustitute them for dried if you want. Just use a teaspoon of each [or to taste]. Also delicious with pork *Edit* 4 slices of thick bread...not 6 ;D
