Dunno 4P, I had some shop bought parsnip and beetroot crisps once they were very nice. You'll have to let me know how you get on. Why not try putting a bit of Parmesan cheese on a few, it tastes really nice on roast parsnips, and cheesy chips are nice to, the best of both worlds.

Yes, I think I excelled myself tonight....OH had the remains of last night's aubergine casserole whizzed up to make a rich sauce for his lentil rissoles and lots of watercress and raw spinach dressed with herby oil as a salad..I shall have to burn the onions or summat tomorrow night to restore the status quo! ;D

It might be that but I'm more inclined to think it was desperation, born out of a strong hatred of the thought of cooking pasta again.....as I say, I won't do that too often. Lentil rissoles are a proper messy fiddle to make.... :

Like The witch`s Curries..... I seem to remember

Parsnip chips sound delish! We have them roasted quite often, but I think I'll try the chips too one day

How do you make them? Slice them thinly and rub some olive oil and salt into them? Long ways?

I just chopped them up into roughly the same size as the potato chips and dropped them into the hot oil after I'd cooked the potato ones for a while......not very exact am I? I might try carrot chips next.............

They all sound lovely, and all worth trying - children jumping up and down with delight saying 'Oh yummy! Carrot/parsnip/turnip chips hooray!' It has a good chance of catching on!

Like The witch`s Curries..... I seem to remember I always used to do that exact thing but OH doesn't like them reheated....he is sooooooooo fussy . Which is why we only have them occasionally. They are actually quite scrummy (and healthy) but I'm blowed if I'm fiddling about making 3/4 more than once in a blue moon...
