... on the go in the slow cooker again today.
Lamb, turnip, carrot, parsnip, potato, mushrooms, onion, red wine, seasoning.
Should be ready by the time I get home ;D

Very wise in the ways of vegetables you are. I am very fond of leeks. I don't ever remember having them as a youngster. I had to discover them for myself.

A lovely dish with a good cheese sauce. I usually do them in a cheese sauce, but when I did a couple of weeks ago they were horrible. I made a cheddar cheese sauce, and it was too strong a cheddar! Yeuk! They are lovely with roast lamb. Put the lamb on a trivet and put the leeks underneath to roast as well. Yummy.
