This is meant to be delicious (haven't tried it yet myself though):
4 parts apple juice to 3 parts white rum. Warm the juice low & slow for as long as possible with a stick of cinnamon and couple of cloves. Then add the rum just before serving, and top with cream that you have whipped with cinnamon, honey and a dash of rum or whisky.
Would be nice after a long walk or on bonfire night (sorry bit late for this year!)

It sounds delicious - and a sensible amount of rum in proportion to the apple juice!
