Watched James Martin make this at the NEC on Sunday - it's soooo easy, made some for pudding last night - yummy it was too. ;D 4 bananas ΒΌ tsp vanilla essence Sugar to taste 150ml buttermilk Peel bananas and cut them into chunks, then freeze them until firm. Place the frozen banana chunks in a food processor. Then, add the vanilla and half the buttermilk. Whizz the banana for a while, then, with the machine still running, pour in the remaining buttermilk in a thin, steady stream. Let the machine run until the mixture is beautifully smooth and creamy. Yummy - I said it was easy. ;D I've got most of those ingredients at home. I will try it tonight. I will have to substitute bananas with courgettes though. |

Well....... did you make some? I did. It's disgusting!!! Definitely not to be recommended! I should think just mashing bananas with vanilla ice-cream would be easier, and it can only taste good. It was dusgusting in what kind of way, Sleepy? |
