Thats what we call it, a recipe born from adversity, this one. Two cooked Turkey Drumsticks Sage and onion stuffing 1pt white sauce flavoured with honey and mustard, to taste 1lb shortcrust pastry Cranberry jelly if liked Ive tried this recipe with turkey pieces but its much better made with slightly dry dark meat, IMO as it soaks up the sauce better, I layer it with meat at the bottom, followed by sauce, then stuffing, a smear of Cranberry jelly and then top with pastry, as the meat is already cooked, the pie does not take very long in the oven, serve when the pastry is golden. I have never had leftovers, even though some of these pies have been massive! None of my family are keen on drumsticks, but this is a way to get rid of them!

After my flapjack success I'll have to give this one a go too. Thanks Sweetie

The flapjack variation I did, if anyone else tries it they should note that it doesn't stick together well to form the biscuits - well not at all really. You have to sort of scoop it with a spoon. I think that's because of the marmalade.

And I bet it's really satisfying to make too.
