I like making my garlic bread, because everyone loves it, and stew with whatever's to hand, provided there's plenty of time. I find all the chopping and tweaking the flavour very therapeutic. And anything chilli or curry, provided there's enough time to do take ages over it.

I made something up on Saturday and it was so delish I thought I'd share it with you.
Minced Pork 1 medium onion Fresh oregano and sage Tomato puree (one with some chili and spices in it) Tin of tomatoes. Glass of Red Wine Teaspoon of fennel seed. Salt and pepper
Fry the onions until beginning to grow brown then add the pork until that is browned. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Bring up to the boil then simmer for about 20 minutes or until the liquid has mostly evaporated.
Serve with chunky pasta that has had some butter and pepper added.

I can't remember what make my slo-cooker is, but the pan is separate from the heating part which makes it much easier to use and clean.

She asked for one piece measuring 15 inches by 15 inches, the shop assistant said "that's a very small amount of fabric, what are you going to use it for?" the Essex girl replied it was for her PC - the shop assistant sighed : saying "I've heard everything now........... curtains for your computer indeed!" ......... the Essex girl replied .............. "well it has got windows!!!" ;D

Doing an Indian dinner party Saturday night for somebody from Kerala. I shall be cooking the main course (Keralan lamb bhuna) tonight to let it mature for a couple of days. I'll let you know how it goes (more smelly oniony hands then).
Also doing a cauliflower dish, possibly a spinach dish, yoghurt chutney, rice and breads.
