I wish my OH did! Due to a serious illness as a child he wasnt allowed near water, now hes actually terrified of drowning.  If I want to go I have to go without him, unlikely to happen, really.  |

Mmm. I have so much respect for his fear of drowning - it niggles at me a bit but not nearly enough to stop me from loving the sea, rivers, canals.... water generally! I even like rain  I have a healthy respect for the sea!!! |

Oh yes that boat would fit Madon! You just wouldn't get very far!!! ;D ;D ;D It's only 58ft long, but I have been on 68ft ones when we went with friends. This was big enough for the 4 of us and dog! I wish I had got a better picture, but this was the night before we were going to give it up and I thought, haven't got a pic of the boat, so this was the best I could do!! ;D Unless you count this one, when I was coming out of the lock!! It's a great photo Madon - locks are wonderful things aren't they? Dad and I kinda measured out the pond and we estimated it to be about 55ft or 60ft long : |

Well how's the lake coming along? Btw I think the outboard would be a bad idea, it's likely to loose oil onto the surface of the pond, whoops, lake.
