I agree with FB Biggles, they really should be protected from frost as they're quite tender.

That's where I go wrong I think, I have the feed but don't necessarily use it! Stupid woman - I have my worm liquid feed now as well. I used that on my sweet peas last year and they were the best I've managed for may years!

Now that is a great idea--Post Photographs of Morning Glory-- Those that have been 'fed' and those that were forgotten about! ;D I am growing mine near the Climbing Rose--that way they get fed when the Roses are fed.

I have no idea if this is correct Jen but mine are out in the mini greenhouse still in the fibre pots I sowed them in (2 to a pot). They are getting a weak tomato feed every w/e when I water everything in the mini greenhouse. They aren't growing as quickly as they did when they were indoors but they still look healthy and they are beginning to get their second set of leaves.

Oh dear the "F" word again - FEED - This weekend I will check out my feedstuff - and I have quite a lot - and feed everything I even have some special stuff for my Hydrangea = such a faff

Most of my plants get tomato feed Jenny. One year I got lots of reduced feed, there was one for roses, one for shrubs, one for camellias/rhododendrons and one general purpose. I quite agree - a faff. General purpose is enough for me to be getting on with and in the summer I have to do Saturday plant feeding otherwise I would forget - I don't like having days for things usually because I get twitchy if I then can't do something on its day. :

Oh another thought Jen - if you are going to grow your morning glories in a pot put in some slow release fertiliser than you won't have to worry about the feeding thing!
