How to post photograph using PhotoBucket
« Thread Started on Feb 15, 2009, 10:15pm »

To post photographs on this forum you need to have the images hosted on web space somewhere. If you do not own your own web space then you can use an image hosting site such as PhotoBucket.

http://photobucket.com

The following is a guide in how to use PhotoBucket

1. First create a PhotoBucket account

2. Then upload an image from your computer into your PhotoBucket account (see image 1)

3. Make sure that you click on ‘Uploading Options’ and change the image options to message board (640 x 480)

4. When the image has been uploaded into your ‘album’ it is being hosted on web space (an area on a computer that can be viewed on the Internet using a web browser such as Internet Explorer). To show those images on the message board you need to copy the IMG code. Click on ‘skip this step and go to my album’

5. Then click on IMG code. This will copy the code into your computers memory.

6. Go to the message board and paste the code into your message

You can create an avatar image in the same way, but choose Avatar (100 x 75) in step 3

Hi Sleepy

I don't know if this applies to everyone but in step 5 for me i have to left click on img code to make it blue then right click and press copy. - It should then say copied to the left of the img code. After that I carry on as normal. Hope this makes sense and helps [image]
